What is DNS
servit.co.il, your computer doesn’t actually understand that name.It asks a DNS server: “Where should I go?” The DNS translates that name into a series of numbers (an IP address), which tells your browser where to connect.

How to change DNS
💻 Windows
- Open “Network & Internet Settings”
- Click “Change adapter options”
- Right-click your connection → “Properties”
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4)
- Enter:
- 8.8.8.8
- 1.1.1.1
🍎 Mac
- System Settings → Network
- Select your connection (Wi-Fi / Ethernet)
- Click Details → DNS
- Add:
- 8.8.8.8
- 1.1.1.1
📱 Android
- Settings → Network & Internet
- Private DNS
- Choose “Private DNS provider hostname” and enter:
dns.google
orone.one.one.one
📱 iPhone
- Settings → Wi-Fi
- Tap your network
- Configure DNS → Manual
- Add:
- 8.8.8.8
- 1.1.1.1
